Our Virginia Beach KOA Campground experience was not nearly as favorable as the prior reviewer. Our Site for 30' camper was muddy and had no trees + large potholes in road to get to it. Showers were dirty and had low water pressure. Pool looked clean from distance, but had brown skummy ring around edge. The store was nice and well stocked and the playground looked nice. The first few times, it was fun to watch and hear the low jets flying over that were taking off at the Naval Base close by, but at 10pm at night, the noise got old. (It did finally stop at about 10:30pm) It did look like they had been doing some remodeling work on one of the shower buildings, so maybe it will get better. Think would want to do a tour of the campground before camped there again, however, to see total amount of needed improvements that have been completed.
