The following is a listing of the Oceanfront or Ocean View St Augustine FL Condo Rental Resorts which are listed with Resort Condominiums International (RCI) or Interval International (II) Timeshare Exchange Networks. At some Time Share Vacation Resorts they also run a Hotel type operation. All offer vacation condo rentals.
You do NOT have to be a timeshare owner to take advantage of these often very affordable vacation timeshare condo rentals in St Augustine -- or wherever!
These unused Time Share Condo Weeks are available for Vacation Time share exchanges by RCI or II Timeshare members, and most also have Vacation Rentals available for a St Augustine FL Condo Rental by the week and in many cases by the day.
Important Tip - Note that in the Saint Augustine, FL area, there are sometimes wide sand dunes that seperate the ocean beach area from the Resorts, so many "Ocean Front" units are usually actually a block or more away from the Ocean beach and are really "Ocean View."
-- Also -- because of the height of the sand dunes, usually only units on the top floors will actually have a view of the ocean. Generally it is best to get a unit above the 2nd floor if you want an ocean view.
The white sand St. Augustine beaches are wide and beautiful. Just be aware that you may have only distant views and sounds of the surf from your condo balcony as compared to say those in oceanfront Cocoa Beach and nearby area Condos. A trade-off benefit of a St Augustine FL Condo Rental is that the beaches are usually less "populated" in the Saint Augustine area than further south in Florida -- and that you have so many nearby historical attractions to visit in St Augustine.

The Beach Club at St Augustine - Off of A1A at 2 Ocean Trace Road - St. Augustine, FL 32080 - (904) 471-2626 - (800)-840-6564 A few miles SE of St. Augustine - just south of St Augustine Beach. The Resort is about 6 miles SE of Historic St Augustine. St Augustine Beach and Tennis is on site.
Fairly large Oceanfront / view resort affiliated with both RCI and II time share networks + offers vacation condo rentals. Resort has one and 2-bedroom condo apartment units arranged in a large "V" shape so most upper floor units have a angle view of the ocean across the sand dune. On-site amenities include: Pool, exercise equipment, Tennis, game room, Jacuzzi, Sauna, basketball court, laundry, and barbecue grills. Tip Do not miss the Beach Club "Virtual Tour" link on Resort page above where you can view 360 degree views from various locations on the resort. Be sure to let the "beach view" run it's complete 360 view to see the beach and the walkway from the Resort to the beach. You can see the Resort "V" layout from the "pool" view and see why it might be good to try for a unit nearest the beach since units at the "back" of the "V" are some distance from the ocean. It is also important to get on two top floors for a view of the ocean. Ask when you are renting if an ocean view is important to you.
Resort generally gets very good user reviews. The Beach Club at St Augustine might definately be worth checking out for a St Augustine FL condo rental.

Fun & Interesting! - Google "Local" link to "hybrid" Satellite Map Image of Beach Club at St Augustine Resort and its location off of A1A and the Ocean beach. (Map page sometimes loads slow.)
Tip - The actual aerial map location for the Beach Club Resort is actually just to lower right of the "C" teardroop Vs the "B" one as shown. Use steps below to go to correct aerial image location.
1. Double click just to the lower right of the red "C" teardrop on the above map and wait for it to re-center (- Do Not click ON "C" teardrop - double-click just outside and to lower left of teardrop "tip" area - NOT where cursor changes to a "hand")
2. Then click on the zoom "+" three times - no more yet! (wait for zoom to re-load between clicks - can expand your window to full page to see bigger view of map after zooms.)
3. After zooms are completed and bigger window view has loaded, re-center your view again by double-clicking on the white "W" area that faces east just beside the East facing "V" shaped resort with the blue offset pool -- just to north of Ocean Trace Road and next to the beach. (If you don't see Ocean Trace Road - shift the image down with the down arrow.)
4. Then click "+" once or twice to zoom in some more for a close satellite view of the Resort, Pool, and Beach. Tip - Use your keyboard arrows Vs arrows on image for more precise control when shifting view area. Use right arrow to shift to right so can see beach and ocean + walkway to beach. (may have to click one image arrow to activate image shift keyboard arrow controls) Note that Resorts just to north and south have a retangular shaped pool vs an irregular shaped one like is shown in the Beach Club Resort pictures above.

Ocean Gate Time Share / Rental Resort walkway to beach
- On Anastasia Island - SE of St. Augustine, Florida
Ocean Gate Resort - 125 Ocean Hibiscus Drive, St. Augustine, Florida 32084 - (904) 471-5030 - Near 4730 A1A South. The resort is located on Anastasa Island about six miles from historic St. Augustine. (On same property with RCI Hibiscus Resort below)
Ocean Gate Resort is affiliated with II timeshare network + offers St Augustine FL condo rental time shares. 1, 2, and 3 bedroom condo apartment units. Fairly new large resort. Three outdoor pools (one heated), two hot tubs, exercise room, and tennis. The Ocean Gate Resort has not received many written reviews yet, and the reviews it has received are mixed.
Ask for an ocean view unit (distant view) - also need to get on a top floor to be able to see distant ocean over the wide sand dune area.This link goes to Interval International (II) description and pictures of Ocean Gate Resort. Hibiscus Resort - 125 Ocean Hibiscus Drive, St. Augustine, FL 32080 - (904) 471-6848 Located on Anastasa Island about six miles SE of St. Augustine - just south of St Augustine Beach. (On same property with II Ocean Gate Resort above.)
The Hibiscus Resort is affiliated with RCI time share network + offers vacation condo rentals. It has 2 and 3-bedroom condo apartment units. Resort amenities include three heated pools, 2 heated outdoor jacuzzis, exercise equipment, and tennis court. Each unit has a 4-person jacuzzi and a washer/dryer. Resoprt is mostly private ownership Condos Vs timeshares, but many owners rent out their condos.

Inn at Camachee Harbor - 201 Yacht Club Drive, Saint Augustine, FL 32095 - (800) 688-5379
This is not an ocean view or a timeshare resort, but is included here because it is only about a 5 minute drive to the St Augustine Historic "Old Town" area and also the ocean beaches. (& some great restaurants!)
The Inn at Camachee Harbor also gets rave reviews from almost all of its' users. It is a small Marina View resort with 19 varying type spacious rooms, most of which have a direct view of the 350 slip Marina and boats and Yachts coming and going. Ask for this view if you enjoy watching the boat activity.
All rooms have a mini-refrigerator or larger and a coffee pot. Many also have a microwave. Small dogs are allowed in some rooms for a fee. All rooms are non-smoking except outside on decks. A Continental Breakfast is provided. The St Augustine FL condo rental Prices are reasonable.
