Crescent Beach - South of St Augustine about 25 Min. down A1A on Anastasia Island, a wildlife refuge on the Atlantic Ocean.

Scenic, unspoiled natural St Augustine FL beaches area. Island is narrow there so are close to marshlands of Matanzas river - much wildlife. Boating, diving, & fishing available. Don't miss checking out this St Augustine FL Beaches area.

Vehicles are permitted on some areas of Crescent Beach with permit. Vehicle access to designated beach areas daily fee is $4 - seasonal vehicle beach permit is $20. (Wish they didn't allow cars on the beach, but drivers do seem to respect the 10 MPH speed limit and be careful of pedestrians.)
